65m kw.power plant construction

Ma Kai, director of the National Development and Reform Commission, said
on March 8th that China's power construction accelerated markedly in the
few last years. The capacity of newly opened plants reached 34.84 million
kilowatts in 2003 and 50.55 million kilowatts in 2004, breaking the
previous world record. China will also start construction of a new
project with a capacity of 65 million kilowatts. The photo shows a
large-scale electric power plant in Eastern China.
