Chongqing monorail

The Jiaochangkou-Xinshan Village light-rail line in Chongqing
Municipality is one of the ten first-phase key projects for the
development of western regions. The line crosses the long and narrow
Yuzhong Peninsula between the Changjiang River and Jiangling River with a
total length of 19 kilometers. The line is an international standard,
straddle monorail that can adapt to the distinct geography of the region.
