Host China secured a hard-earned 3-2 victory over Denmark in a Group D
game, thanks to an incredible long-range shot from Song Xiaoli at the
88th minute.
At the 30th minute, China struck first when?Li Jie looped a curling free
kick which found the top right corner of the net. A powerful long-range
shot near the arc by Bi Yan lifted China to 2-0 lead at the 50th minute.
The match was held in Central China's Wuhan city, September 12, 2007.
